Benicia CAC is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Donations to Benicia CAC are tax deductible to the extent legally possible. Your tax deductible contribution is an investment in people and their hope for a brighter, productive future.

Each donation to Benicia Community Action Council makes a wide range of support services possible to less fortunate members of our community. Here are the ways you can make a contribution: 

1. Financial

Financial donations can be earmarked for specific activities and programs, such as home delivered senior meals, Thanksgiving, Christmas and other holiday activities. Financial donations (checks or money orders) may be dropped off at the office or mailed to Benicia CAC, 480 Military East, Benicia, CA 94510. Donations may also be made securely through ZEFFY. Receipts will be issued.

2. Personal

Benicia CAC administrative costs are kept to a bare minimum through the generosity of caring Benicians who actively volunteer at Benicia CAC, sharing in Benicia CAC’s  Legacy of Care and commitment to community service. Persons interested in volunteering should contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 707-745-0900. 

3. Toys, School Supplies, Books and Gift Cards

Benicia CAC accepts donations during the holiday season of new toys, clothing, books, and school supplies for eligible youth in Benicia. Gift cards are also welcomed. Donations may be brought to the Benicia CAC office, 480 Military East, Benicia, CA during office hours. 

4. Food

Food donations may be dropped off at the Benicia CAC office during office hours. NO weekend drop-offs. If possible, please provide food in pull top cans and juice in boxes. Everything must have a label on it, be a nonperishable item and have a use-by date of at least 1 month from date of drop off. NO glass jars, please.
